Fishing for Carp and Catfish in the rivers of Bulgaria

FISHING FOR CARP AND CATFISH IN THE DANUBE, OSAM, VIT AND ISKAR RIVERS

On the Danube Plain in the area around Pleven three rivers join the Danube, the Osam, the Vit and the Iskar. This area provides a variety of fishing opportunities, lakes as well as these rivers, not yet fully explored. If you would like to be amongst the first to check out these opportunities contact us to reserve a place.

THE DANUBE
2850 kilometres, the longest river in Europe, the Danube rises in The Black Forest Region of Germany and flows through 11 countries to the Black Sea on the Rumanian coast

THE OSSAM
341 kilometres long the Osam rises in the Stara Planina Mountains and flows into the Danube at Nikopol

THE VIT
189 kilometres long the Vit rises in the Stara Planina Mountains and flows into the Danube at Somovit

THE ISKAR
368 kilometres long the Iskar rises in the Rila Mountains and flows into the Danube at Gigan

All these rivers contain carp and catfish, along with most other species known to fishermen in the UK, which are said to grow in size equal to specimens caught in the better known rivers of Europe

You could be one of the first to catch a Bulgarian monster
